A long table is spread with an autumn feast, roasted poultry, baskets of bread, glazed pastries, bowls of fruit and platters of golden fried food, all set against a warm amber-washed background. Tall branches with orange leaves rise from a metal pitcher on either side of the spread, and candles stand unlit among the dishes.
