1. What we sell
Ditty City creates personalized songs using artificial-intelligence songwriting and music-generation technology, guided by the details you provide and reviewed and arranged by us. When you buy a song, you are buying a license to use it, as described below. This is not exclusive copyright ownership.
2. Your license
Plain-English summary: your song is yours to keep, play, gift, and share anywhere, forever — including on social media and in commercial settings. You just can't resell it as a product of its own.
On payment we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive commercial-use license to download, play, copy, gift, share, broadcast and publicly perform your song and its lyrics, and to post it on social or video platforms, including monetized channels and business use. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the song or lyrics as a standalone product — for example, selling the track on streaming stores or licensing it on to third parties.
Because portions of the work are generated by AI systems, the raw AI output may not be protectable by copyright in some jurisdictions, including the United States. So what you are buying is the license above, not exclusive copyright: we make no promise of exclusive ownership in the underlying recording, and cannot stop a similar song existing.
3. What you promise us
- The details you submit are yours to share and don't infringe anyone's rights or privacy.
- You won't request content that is hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or otherwise unlawful. We may refuse or cancel such orders.
- You won't ask us to imitate the voice or identity of a real person or artist. We don't do voice cloning.
- You have (or reasonably believe you have) the recipient's welcome for a gift like this.
4. What each ditty includes
We sell three sizes. Every one includes the song, a personalized digital greeting card, and a link you can share.
- The Quick Ditty — a short song, about 60 seconds. Includes its own personalized card and 3 free card regenerations, or a card from our gallery. It does not include free re-writes.
- The Little Ditty — a full song, at least 2 minutes. Includes 3 free song changes and 10 free card regenerations.
- The Big Ditty — a longer song, about 4 minutes, ending with a sign-off from you by name. Includes 12 free song changes and 30 free card regenerations.
A "song change" is a re-write or a re-record; it replaces the previous version, and every take you have made stays available to switch back to. Current prices are always the ones shown on the site when you order.
5. Delivery and refunds
- Songs are typically ready within minutes; occasionally generation can take longer or fail, in which case we regenerate at no charge.
- Because each song is a personalized digital good generated on demand, refunds after a song has been generated are at our discretion. But if something's genuinely wrong, contact us and we'll make it right.
6. Gifts and gift vouchers
- A gift voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase and can be redeemed once, for one song at the tier it was bought for.
- It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or refunded once it has been redeemed. Before redemption, the same refund position as any other order applies.
- The person redeeming it writes their own brief — who the song is for, and what to say. We do not share the giver's message or details with anyone else.
- If a voucher covers a smaller ditty than the one being made, the difference is payable at checkout; nothing is refunded if a smaller one is chosen.
7. Ours
The Ditty City name, brand, site, prompts, and curation process are ours. Buying a song doesn't transfer any rights in these.
8. No warranties; liability cap
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to it.

Ditty City is a trading name of Scroll Works Media Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04974649. These terms are an agreement between you and Scroll Works Media Limited.
