A repeating pattern of scalloped, cloud-like fan shapes washes across the page in warm golds, peaches and soft pinks. Each rounded lobe is outlined with a thin painterly edge and filled with gently pooling watercolour, so the tones shift from deep amber at the centre to pale blush at the edges.
