A large heart shape is built entirely from layered paper and dried botanical pieces, torn petals, pressed leaves, embroidered flecks and stitched flowers overlap in patches of plum, rust and amber. Small dried buds and curling stems are tucked into the folds, and a few pale embroidered blossoms peek through the darker layers.
The whole piece has a handmade, textured warmth, lit softly against a plain background.
