A group of six people gather around a round table set with plates, glasses and a patterned cloth, deep in a densely patterned forest rendered entirely in green and gold. Above the trees, two ghostly golden figures watch from the canopy, and small droplets and orbs are scattered through the foliage and across the ground.
The whole scene is built from intricate linework, giving it the feel of a woodcut fable rather than an ordinary dinner.
