A seated dog is rendered as if made of night sky, its whole body filled with hand-carved stars in gold against deep purple, one plain white eye gazing sideways. Beside it stands a paned window, also packed with stars, and the background repeats the same starry texture, blurring the line between animal, window and sky.
The effect is bold and print-like, quiet but glowing, as if the dog is dreaming the whole scene into being.
